Sending a case

Three ways in. Email is the fastest.

All we need is a compatible STL and a prescription — or a physical impression, which we are perfectly happy to scan ourselves. No account to create, no portal to learn.

01

Direct from 3Shape

On a 3Shape scanner, add us as a connected lab once and every case afterwards routes straight to our bench with the order form attached. Nothing to export.

Call us and we’ll walk you through connecting in a few minutes.

02

Email the file

Works with any scanner and any office. Attach the STL and your prescription and we start the moment it arrives — often before you've closed the tab.

Physical impressions

No intraoral scanner? Doesn't matter. We'll pick the impression up and scan it on our own desktop scanner — and we'll make you a model to keep while we're at it.

What to send

What we need from you.

Get these right and your case moves the day it arrives. Miss one and we'll call you — which costs you a day.

File format
STLOpen, unlocked STL exports. If you work in a different format, ask — we can usually take it.
Scans required
Prep · opposing · bitePlus adjacent teeth. A short scan of the pre-op contour helps more than most offices expect.
Prescription
Tooth number · material · shadeInclude the due date and the patient’s chair time if there is one. A short note in the email is plenty — there’s no form to fill out.
Photos
Optional, strongly recommendedAnterior cases especially. A shade tab in frame under corrected lighting is worth more than any note.
Impressions
AcceptedNot digital yet? Send a traditional impression — or call and we’ll come pick it up.
Pickup
Across Northeast OhioWe come to you. Call and we’ll tell you whether we reach your area and work out a schedule.
Turnaround
About two weeks, standardRush available at 24–48 hours for a fee when a patient can't wait. Ask when you send the case.
Still on impressions?

We turn impressions into digital — and build you a model to keep.

We run a desktop scanner that reads physical impressions, so going digital isn't a condition of working with us. Hand us the impression, or let us pick it up, and we'll scan it on our end.

Then we'll build you a model off that scan and it's yours to keep. Next time that patient walks in, send the model back and we work from what you already have — no rescanning, no second impression. Ask us what a model costs; it's a one-time charge per case.

Before we mill

If something in your file doesn't look right — a questionable margin, tight clearance, an occlusion that won't work — you get a call before we cut anything. Not a remake notice afterwards.

And if your patient wants something specific, tell us in the prescription or just call. The person you describe it to is the person who designs it — there is no one in between.

File upload — coming soon

We're building a proper upload portal.

We want sending a case here to be as easy as it should be, and that means an upload tool that actually works for every office rather than one that only works for some. It isn't ready yet, and we'd rather tell you that than point you at something half-finished.

Until it's live, just call or email us and we'll come back with a quote. Include whatever you have of the following — it's enough for us to price the case the same day:

  • Case type and tooth numbers
  • Material and shade, if you've picked them
  • The date you need it in hand
  • Whether you have a digital scan or a physical impression
  • Anything your patient has specifically asked for

If you're not sure about any of that, call instead. Two minutes on the phone beats a form every time, and you'll be talking to the person who'll make the case.

Straight lines only.

No case coordinator, no ticket number. You get one of the two people who will make your case.
