A Shade AboveDental Lab

Serving Northeast Ohio’s Dentists Since 2020

We put the money into the machines, not the lobby.

State-of-the-art equipment. Premium materials, never a budget substitute. Every dollar we have goes into the technology that produces your restorations — so your patients leave happy with the result.

What sets us apart.

It isn't the invoice that costs you. It's the reseat.

Premium materials only.

Ivoclar and Amann Girrbach. No cheap substitutes, ever.

Built to outlast the tooth.

Properly processed zirconia is harder than natural enamel.

You reach the bench.

No coordinator, no ticket number. You talk to whoever is making it.

We call before we mill.

Questionable margin? You hear about it first, not after the seat.

Local, and we drive.

Across Northeast Ohio, we come to you.

Price that makes sense.

Tell us what you pay now. We'll tell you straight if we can beat it.

What we make.

Fixed, removable, and anything a printer can build.

Crowns & bridges

Milled zirconia and lithium disilicate, monolithic or layered.

Dentures

Milled and finished in house, start to finish.

Partials

Printed, cured and finished on the SprintRay workflow.

Implant abutments

Milled to the platform you place.

Retainers, guards & trays

Nightguards, bleach trays and sports guards, printed on site.

Models & printed work

If a printer can make it, we can make it.

Shade is where cases are won or lost.

A crown that fits perfectly and reads a shade off is still a crown your patient notices in the mirror. Send photos with a tab in frame and we'll match to them.

Most labs won't tell you what they run.

Here's every machine and material we own. This is where the money went instead of the building.

Ask about rush

Crowns, dentures and abutments in 24 hours. Partials in 48. Carries a rush fee — worth asking when a patient can't wait.

Newest investment

We brought the SprintRay workflow in house.

Printer, washer and curing unit — the full chain, on our bench. It's the current state of the art in dental printing, and it's the reason we can produce retainers, partials, guards and models at a quality that holds up next to anything thermoformed.

Nothing leaves the building to get printed, cleaned or cured. That's one less handoff, one less delay, and one less place for a case to go wrong.

We turn your impressions into digital — and build you a model to keep.

No intraoral scanner? Not your problem. Send the impression or let us pick it up, and we digitize it here on our 3Shape desktop scanner.

We'll build you a physical model off that scan and it stays with you. When that patient returns, send the model back and we work from what you already have. Ask what it costs — it's one time per case, not recurring.

Three ways in.

None of them require you to change how you work.

01

Send from 3Shape

Connect once. Every case after that arrives with the order form attached.

02

Email the file

Any scanner, any office. We start the moment it hits the inbox.

03

We'll come get it

Physical impression? We'll pick it up and scan it ourselves.

Small shop. Long history in this industry.

Two people run this lab, and both have spent their careers in dentistry.

Raised in dentistry

Grew up in a household of two dentists, then a career in dental sales and practice management.

A decade at the bench

More than ten years in dental laboratories, abroad and in the States.

We know where labs lose time

Efficiency isn't a slogan when you already know which steps waste a day.

How the lab got started →

Try us on one crown.

That's the whole pitch. Send a single unit, see how it seats, decide from there. Ask about the first case — we make it easy for a new office to find out whether we're worth switching to.

Hours Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM for calls and email replies.
